Founder
Robert Becker
Robert Becker brings a combination of professional experience in research and AI analysis, nonprofit leadership, heritage preservation, and technology implementation. Alongside his professional work, he volunteers as Manager of the Keizer Heritage Museum and President of the Keizer Heritage Foundation in Keizer, Oregon.
Through his museum leadership and community involvement, Robert has firsthand experience with the challenges facing small and volunteer-driven organizations, including limited budgets, competing priorities, and the need to accomplish more with fewer resources.
His work includes developing practical technology solutions for volunteer management, workflow automation, data reporting, digital collections, and organizational knowledge management. He has also helped advance oral-history initiatives, interactive visitor experiences, and the use of emerging technologies to make local history more accessible.
Robert is an experienced conference presenter and trainer, sharing practical approaches to technology adoption, digital transformation, and responsible artificial intelligence with heritage organizations and nonprofit professionals. His presentations focus on making technology approachable and demonstrating how organizations can move from ideas to practical implementation.
Through Legacy Forward Consulting, Robert draws on this experience to help organizations evaluate their needs, improve everyday operations, build confidence with technology, and develop sustainable solutions.
